The Police Department of the Velocity Interoperability Network today confirmed the opening arrangements for the public counters at its six police stations, one at each principal site of the Network. Counters open between Monday 7 September and Friday 11 September 2026, beginning with Central Exchange and Northgate. The location, counter days and hours of every station are set out on the Police Stations page of this site.

Station counters take reports of crime and incidents, receive found property and hold lost property for collection, and from 14 September 2026 accept applications for police certificates. Patrol and response cover at every principal site has operated continuously since the Department's establishment and does not depend on counter hours. In an emergency, alert the emergency point at your site or the nearest officer on duty.

Reports may also be made in writing to contact@police.gov.vin at any time. Every report receives a crime or incident reference number, which should be quoted in all later correspondence with the Department.
